Biography
Fiona has over 10 years
experience with high performance athletes in strength and
stability training, and now specialises in Sports
Specific Yoga. She has competed in sport at an
international level and has experienced the benefits of a
regular Power Yoga practice on the mind and body,
enhancing athletic performance. Fiona has a Masters
Degree in Sports Science and teaches classes at
‘Power Living’ in Sydney. She also teaches
Power Yoga to professional Football teams, elite Cricket
players and Olympic swimmers.

The benefits of Yoga to
athletes and sporting populations are numerous, and many
Elite and Professional athletes now include Yoga as a
regular training session. Sports people can improve
strength, balance, flexibility, focus, reduce the risk of
injury and prolong the length of their career. Careful
consideration must be taken for the athlete’s body
however, as traditional postures and sequencing can be
inappropriate for individuals with muscle bulk, poor
flexibility, or those carrying injuries. Learn how to
modify the practice and plan a sequence to take the
athletes mind and body to a new level.
