Biography
Patty is very dedicated about
sharing the benefits of Kundalini Yoga which works on the
endocrine and nervous systems. She is one of the three
senior teaching staff for the Kundalini Yoga Teacher
Training across Australia and regularly travels to teach
workshops and retreats in Hatha Vinyasa and especially in
the Kundalini Yoga tradition. Her professional
career has been eclectic and diverse. Originally a
trained dancer, Patty now runs a thriving business as a
kinesiologist and her dedication for yoga has deepened in
the last few years as she has discovered that the
similarities between Chinese Medicine and Kundalini Yoga
are quite profound. Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of
awareness and is open to all levels. The combination of
yoga postures with detailed breath patterns and specific
repetition of sounds makes the practice particularly
transformative. Each set of exercises targets
particular areas of the physical body but also the
energetic meridians of the body that helps release
blockages. If you’re ready to let go of the past or
to embrace personal empowerment in your life, then this
is the practice for you.

Awakening
Saturday, 18 April /
4.00pm-5.30pm
In this class, be prepared to
have some fun in a manner that may not necessarily
resemble a typical yoga class initially. One of the
most beautiful things about Kundalini Yoga is that the
whole practice can be done with our eyes closed at the
pace that is best suited to our current mood, physical
ability and energy levels for that day. Each posture is
held for up to two minutes and also incorporates specific
breath patterns that help you release energy blockages a
little faster. Remember you can always take a
little rest when you feel a little tired.
