Biography
John Ogilvie is founder and
director of one of Australia’s oldest yoga schools,
Byron Yoga Centre, and has been teaching yoga since 1987,
and heads up the Centre’s respected teacher
training faculty. John has developed the Purna style of
yoga, meaning ‘complete’,
‘integrated’ or ‘full’. Purna
yoga represents a holistic approach to yoga drawing from
the 8 limbs of yoga, integrating not just Asana but also
pranayama, meditation and the philosophy.
John’s classes are a celebration of life - fun and
dynamic, bringing out our inner joy.
